The #vanchristmas Instagram campaign was launched as a 6 day project to count down the days until Christmas, Boxing Day, then returning to work. The background in this image was inspired by the snow and trees I saw while snowshoeing on Seymour Mountain. I really wanted to capture the essence of winter by focusing on what it makes us feel – cold from the weather, but cozy from feeling warm inside. No matter how freezing it is, these are the sensations of love, peace & happiness.
