Rhythm & Rhyme

Achieving an effective cadence in your messaging can greatly increase the audience’s propensity for participation. Everyone loves a good rhyme and I think over the years of listening to rap music and working with musicians on their rap flow, I’ve become uniquely skilled. My old university professor at the University of Calgary, Paul Woodrow, said my writing was, “Swift and punchy!” In order to grasp the attention of youth today, it helps a lot to write the way they talk, so that they can relate, even if content may be incongruous and complex.
