Effective data governance ensures that data is consistent and trustworthy and doesn’t get misused. This is crucial as my observations from the past ten years show that misuse occurs when governing bodies are unstable, in other words, not properly equipped (mentally, socially, physically, spiritually) to manage said availability, usability, integrity, and security of data.

As an artist, you can create a wonderful masterpiece and use it to build yourself up. But when you are done, you have to start all over again and this is a problem. It’s a similar thing building a social media presence, you can really use what’s out there to help support your vision or you can get lost in the confusion of trying to fit in or out with a trillion other things, plus being an open book for everyone one to read.
Practically, we live in this space doing regular things, but we also fend for ourselves using our brains. Oh, so this is life!
Progressively, we are relying on different social media platforms to reach out – to friends, family, co-workers and customers. We can interact with more people at once. No need to place a phone call; we can send a snap using Snapchat, add tags to Instagram Stories or relay continuous messages via applications like Facebook Messenger.
This is who we are today. We embrace a fast and furious approach to everything and criticize the results. From placing mobile food orders to providing subscribers with a mere minute to execute a successful Instagram (video) campaign – the faster we engage our viewers and apply visual transparency, the more likely we can succeed in delivering our message.
